Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of CleanMoo.

CleanMoo is the public product brand. CleanMoo is operated by CleanMoo Digital Solutions.

CleanMoo is a cleaning business management software platform for cleaning service companies. It is not a cleaning-service provider, employer of cleaners uploaded by customers, immigration adviser, work-permit authority, condominium management company, payment processor or legal adviser.

If you accept these Terms on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CleanMoo, creating an account or continuing to use the service after updates take effect, you agree to these Terms, subject to applicable law.

2. CleanMoo Service

CleanMoo is a cleaning business management SaaS for managing bookings, staff assignments, schedules, jobs, customers, invoices, payment records and related operational information.

Features may differ by plan and may change over time.

3. Eligibility and Business Use

CleanMoo is primarily intended for legitimate business use.

Users must be legally capable of entering an agreement and authorised by the relevant business.

4. Accounts and Security

Users must:

  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Protect passwords and authentication credentials
  • Use individual accounts rather than sharing login credentials
  • Maintain appropriate administrator permissions
  • Notify CleanMoo of suspected unauthorised access
  • Remain responsible for activity conducted through their accounts

5. Subscriptions, Fees and Taxes

Current plans and prices will be displayed at signup or checkout when those commercial terms are published.

  • Fees may be recurring
  • The billing interval will be displayed before purchase
  • Applicable taxes may be added
  • Customers are responsible for valid billing information
  • Renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be shown at purchase

Nothing in this section invents a specific price, free trial, refund rule or renewal rule. Those commercial terms apply only when shown at the time of purchase or in a separate confirmed agreement.

6. Licence to Use CleanMoo

CleanMoo grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use CleanMoo during the subscription term for internal business purposes.

The customer does not acquire ownership of CleanMoo software, source code, branding or underlying technology.

7. Customer Data

“Customer Data” means information uploaded, submitted, generated or stored by the customer or its users.

  • The customer retains its rights in Customer Data
  • The customer gives CleanMoo permission to host, process, transmit, back up and display Customer Data as necessary to provide the service
  • CleanMoo may not use Customer Data for unrelated advertising
  • Aggregated or de-identified information may be used to operate and improve the service only where individuals and customers cannot reasonably be identified

8. Passport and Worker Information

Customers may upload passport or worker-identification information only when reasonably necessary for legitimate operational purposes.

The customer represents and warrants that:

  • It is authorised to collect the information
  • It has informed the relevant worker
  • It has obtained required consent or permission
  • The information is accurate
  • The upload is lawful
  • The information is not excessive
  • The intended recipient is authorised
  • The information will be removed when no longer required

Customers must not upload passport information for unrelated surveillance, discrimination, marketing, identity trading or other unlawful purposes.

9. Appointment Reminders and Third-Party Recipients

CleanMoo may provide functionality that allows an authorised customer administrator to prepare, send or make available appointment details and worker-identification documents to condominium, building or property-management recipients through the communication method selected or configured by the customer.

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Selecting the recipient
  • Verifying the recipient’s contact details
  • Confirming the recipient is authorised
  • Reviewing the attachment or information before sending
  • Ensuring disclosure is required
  • Obtaining worker consent or authority
  • Complying with building and legal requirements

CleanMoo is not responsible for a customer sending information to an incorrect or unauthorised recipient, except to the extent directly caused by CleanMoo’s breach of applicable obligations.

CleanMoo does not guarantee approval of access, appointments, entry passes or work permits.

10. Acceptable Use

Customers and users must not engage in:

  • Illegal activity
  • Unauthorised passport collection
  • Identity theft
  • Uploading falsified documents
  • Discrimination or harassment
  • Malware distribution
  • Security testing without permission
  • Attempting to access another customer’s workspace
  • Scraping
  • Reselling access without permission
  • Interfering with service operation
  • Uploading content that violates third-party rights

11. Customer Administrators and Users

Customer administrators control user invitations, roles, permissions, data access, data uploads, recipients and account configuration.

The customer is responsible for its authorised users and former users whose access has not been removed.

12. Third-Party Services

CleanMoo may integrate with hosting, communication, analytics, authentication and payment services.

Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy policies. CleanMoo is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

13. Intellectual Property

CleanMoo’s software, name, logo, interface, documentation and original content remain owned by CleanMoo or its licensors.

Customers retain ownership of their own uploaded Customer Data.

14. Feedback

Customers may provide feedback. CleanMoo may use general feedback to improve the product without disclosing confidential customer information.

15. Service Availability and Changes

  • CleanMoo aims to provide a reliable service
  • Maintenance and interruptions may occur
  • Features may be improved, modified or discontinued
  • Reasonable notice will be provided for material changes where practical

CleanMoo does not promise 100% uptime.

16. Data Export and Account Termination

Customers should export or retain necessary records before account termination where export tools are available. Availability of export tools depends on the features provided in the CleanMoo product at the relevant time.

Data handling after termination follows the Privacy Policy and the applicable retention process.

17. Suspension

CleanMoo may suspend access where reasonably necessary for non-payment, security risks, illegal use, serious breach of these Terms, protection of users or systems, or legal requirements.

Where appropriate, CleanMoo will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

18. Disclaimer

CleanMoo is a software-management platform.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CleanMoo does not provide legal advice, immigration advice, employment advice, accounting advice, tax advice, condominium approval, work-permit approval, or guarantees that uploaded documents satisfy a third party’s requirements.

Customers remain responsible for checking applicable requirements.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CleanMoo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data or business opportunity.

Subject to applicable law, CleanMoo’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will be limited to a reasonable amount linked to fees actually paid by the customer for the service during a defined period before the claim. The exact cap and period will be confirmed in the final commercial and legal configuration.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any matter that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the customer will indemnify CleanMoo against claims arising from unlawful Customer Data, lack of authority to upload or disclose passport information, or misuse of the service by the customer or its users.

21. Confidentiality

Each party must protect the other party’s non-public business and technical information using reasonable care.

Passport and worker information must be treated as confidential.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

The specific court venue or dispute-resolution process will be confirmed in the final legal configuration.

23. Changes to Terms

CleanMoo may update these Terms. Material updates should be communicated through the website, platform or registered email where available.

Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where legally permitted.
